Mike Silva

Shop Owner

Mike is the owner and founder of No Limit Customs. He grew up working at his father's upholstery shop in Fremont, California where he first caught a glimpse of custom classics. In high school he bought his '68 Camaro that you see in local Central Valley car shows today. It started as a sparkly blue vinyl top that Mike brought to a lot of car shows, raced at Sears Point and Sacramento Raceway, and spent most of his money on it but in the early 2000's the Camaro had less and less driving time until it was finally parked for several years as his parent's ranch. After his kids grew up he was able to revisit his favorite hobbies. He decided to clean up the car and upgrade it while simultaneously trying to build the foundation of his shop so he could quit the everyday commute of his rock quarry job.

In 2011 Mike, with the help of many close friends, debuted the Camaro in the Sema show where he hoped to network and show his skill for custom classic car building. From 2011-2014 Mike and the co-owner Shawn worked nights and weekends at the shop until the workload of their everyday job along with the work at the shop became too much. They opened the shop full-time in December of 2014.

He has always loved to see people keeping their old cars on the road and thanks to the other hard-working team members of NLC he has built his passion for automobiles into a profession he loves.
